Richardson powers up GIS with ED
Schaumburg, IL (January 5, 2006). Effective Data (ED), a private Schaumburg - based EDI
Consulting and Data Integration firm, has aligned with Richardson Electronics to complete
electronic data interchange (EDI) services.
LaFox, IL based – Richardson Electronics has partnered with Effective Data to complete
extensive EDI data integration services using the GIS software package. ED has been engaged
to help support this major initiative. ED will setup Richardson’s top suppliers on EDI and
support their current EDI environment during the entire project. In addition ED will analyze, map
and place the new GIS EDI application into a “live” environment. Effective Data will also provide
on-site EDI training to the internal Richardson EDI staff.
